unveiling beauty - ruth brown

I've dedicated this, my first CD, to my dear late wife, Ruth, who unexpectedly died last September, 2008. We met at the CGI Leadership Training College in 2003 and got married shortly afterwards. We then moved to Orkney Scotland where I began giving private drum and guitar lessons.

The 11 songs on the CD are written and played by me and are a mixture of musical styles. Along with some love balads there's a rocking Blues style, a 'Santana' feel, a Celtic, Folk, and even a Country feel. Some songs I've written for Ruth and others are songs that have spiritual meaning to the both of us. It's a fairly full sound with bass, acoustic and electric guitars, drums, and vocals with layers of harmonies! It will make for very positive and uplifting listening.
